Get the ball rolling

Tomorrow is my last day at work. Weird. But somehow not as weird as I thought it would be. I guess because I thought it was going to happen a long time ago. I’m gonna miss my hotel buddies a lot!

I had a great birthday :) In case you haven’t tried Cafe Wayo, it’s pretty sweet. But Red Lobster overcooked my crab legs. Boo. Did some shopping. I got a haircut; last haircut before the wedding. I was actually really pleased. This is the first haircut that I’ve gotten in Auburn that I actually really liked (Even though it was just a trim, I would trust her to do more.). And now it’s my LAST Auburn haircut. So I’m passing on the knowledge. HairMasters. In the shopping center behind Loco’s. Check it out. I saw one of them do a good men’s haircut too. So it was kind of sad that most of my friends had to be at work that evening and…. the soccer game…. I need not say more…. but at least the Braves KILLED. Tommy gave me a chain to replace the broken one that held my edelweiss charm that he brought from Austria. So glad I can wear it again! So overall, fantastic birthday :)

Yesterday I went to pick up my wedding dress (which was a month late after we paid for rush shipping), but, as it turns out, they are closed on Mondays. Really? Wish they had mentioned that on the phone. We also found out that, even though we signed on for this apartment that we were told would be available for July 1, we now can’t move in until July 7 at the VERY EARLIEST. This complicates things. But at least I don’t have to rush packing now. Oh well. It will work out.

Getting tired of the summer storms.

All I want is pancakes.

Liesl’s head is on my keyboard so I think that’s a hint that she needs to be cuddled. I think I can handle that.
